I am always in the mood for tea and tarts!

They sure went through a lot of trouble for a tea party with no guests!

 

 

 



The Mad Hatter always shows up for tea!

Where could he be?

 

 



 

I am so hungry, I must have some tea and cakes!

I guess I will wait for the other guests to arrive.

A quick cat nap is all I need.

 



Hmm.  No host or party guests!

Not even the Mad Hatter!

And he loves tea parties!

Perhaps I will have better luck next time!

When I was a kid, we only saw my grandparents in the summer.

So every July we celebrated Christmas.

I have wonderful memories of being with my grandma and grandpa

and opening presents!

The kids and I are going swimming everyday this week.

DIY Herbalism E-Course and Gratitude

I love it!  And it is so soft, too.

We are having gorgeous weather here right now.

The sky is bright blue and the sun is so warm!

The trees are blossoming, the bees are buzzing. 

Spring is on the way!

I am looking forward to the flowers and the spring bounty at the farmer's market.

It has been a crazy year so far for me!

But, I am looking forward to moving ahead!

A beautiful oatmeal heather that goes with everything.

I had a very nice weekend with the family.

It rained all weekend so we stayed indoors and got crafty!

We also made plans for the holidays. 

A holiday bucket list.

It includes snowflakes, watching Elf and

newly added today, cocoa by the fire.

Elf is a tradition in our family.

We wait until December every year to watch it.

I did not.  I am not a big fan of the crowds and chaos.

I pulled out our holiday decorations today.

We didn't put them up yet, but they are ready to be unpacked.

I am getting into the holiday spirit little by little each day.

I really want to enjoy the season!

Holiday movies, baking with the kids, Hanukkah parties and

Christmas parties, decorating the tree, celebrating the winter solstice with a candlelit walk in the woods.  I am looking forward to all these things with my family!

Life is crazy here and there just wasn't time.

It has been so warm here.  In the 80s for 3 days now.

I am soooo looking forward to cooler days.

So I can wear my scarves and boots, of course!

crocheting and other crafty endeavors.

Crocheting, for me, is so relaxing.

Like meditation.

And creating something that someone loves to wear
